This means that all Telia’s private and business customers always surf, stream and work online on a network with green power.
Since 2015, Telia has been dedicated to reducing its power consumption in its business. Through streamlining of the company’s data centers by, for example, optimizing the process for cooling the servers, they have secured an annual saving of more than 140 0 tonnes of CO2.
Telia is committed to maximizing its positive environmental impacts and minimizing its negative environmental impacts through the products and services that they provide.
Telia’s targets aim to ensure that by 2030 they will be climate neutral throughout their value chain and generate zero waste from their operation including network construction and maintenance. At the same time, through digitalization the company will enable its customers to reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as enable a circular economy through their products and services. Additional 2023 and 2025 targets have also been set to concretize our “road to zero”.
